My name is Nicolette Lesniak, I am an IEP Empowerment Coach and the founder of IEP Coaching Around You.
I provide IEP supports to parents and families to build effective and stronger communication with all members of the IEP team. I provide support with your child's IEP (Individual Education Plan) to make sure that your voice and your child's voice is heard, and that they are prepared for further education, future employment and independent living. I understand the parent and teacher perspective, because I consult and work with educators on a daily basis.
I am certified in Indiana and Illinois as a Exceptional Needs Teacher and a Director of Exceptional Needs. I have been in the classroom for over 20 years, working with students in PK to 12th grade, as well as students and families in a 18-22 year old (extended transition program).
I will support you and your family focus on what really matters when it comes to making sure that your childs IEP provides them with the services they need to be successfull and prepared for the future.
